WHY YET ANOTHER AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION BUILD ?? They're ZERO fun to drive. It makes me sick to see such a beautiful ride as your '69 Firebird with a slush box behind that beautiful engine. What is there to do? Start the engine, shift into D then stare out the windows? They're so F''N boring!! At least with a Standard Shift you have a genuine physical connection to the car, something you can actually feel while driving it. Automatics belong only in Drag Cars or for kiddies that can't drive a Standard but think they can because.the actually got the clutch without stalling mommys 120 TQ shitbox, The millennials think that driving mommy's 4 cylinder 5 speed is the same as driving a big HP/TQ muscle machine. I'm Sooooo glad to see that (please forgive me if I got your name wrong) Teresa learned to drive a Standard Shift in her '56 with some pretty big HP/TQ. The smile on your face was priceless! KEEP ON SHIFTING KID!!!!

yes linceed oil is used to protect wooden rifle stocks. it water proofs n give great look to finish, brings out natural grain of wood. u guys wookin n playing together is great. keep it up .God bless

68 Charger with a 69 Grille. I had a new 69 with 383 And performance axle package with a 3:55 rear gear with a 4 spd. If you drove 55, gas mileage was reasonable But , "I can't drive 55" ! So, Love this project, a dream car for sure.

My advice is if the Charger will solely be a 1/4 mile drag car then go with a 4 link rear suspension. If it's not the Chrysler/Dodge factory leaf springs will work fine for the Charger. But before welding in the 4 link set-up both left and right frame rails should be removed and replaced due to the rust thru on the left frame rail. Dylan McCool a fellow youtuber has replaced the frame rails on his 1972 Challenger -- he can help you if needed, The Pontiac engine is awesome. I would add a radiator to your engine test stand. Great content, very informative and entertaining.

Does that engine for a billet roller cam ? if so you need a Polymer/Composite Distributor Gear on the end of the distributor , otherwise it could damage the roller cam. dont use the cast iron gear from that old distributor ,

Oh yeah, you need a parts washer. There are used ones on ebay & craigslist. Don't get sucked in on a subscription cleaning fluid unit. I still have a Graymills unit from the 70's, where I change the cleaning fluid myself.

Teach Olivia how to ride the motorcycle too…that would be awesome. And then, if you both get the bug regarding motorcycle riding, then try cruising the PCH. I’m at a hot Rod enthusiast, and a motorcyclist myself, and I used to cruise the PCH on my chopper. The ride up deer Creek Road on a motorcycle is pretty adventurous as well.

I applaud you for recognizing you are a new rider and starting with a smaller bike. I’ve known several new riders that let their ego get in the way and thought they could handle a bigger bike with a lot of power. (A couple got hurt badly) Anyway, great job in taking it slow and learning the right way! Love the channel!

I love the firebird that and the 65 GTO is my favorite Pontiacs other then a gto judge my God father was the top salesmen for peretti Pontiacs dealership here in Louisiana he bought a brand new 70 or 71 white presidential model trans am it had the bad to the bone 455 H.O.S.D high output super duty engine that car screamed each dealership only got one and he grabbed it it was white w with a blue stripe that ran up the center of the hood over the shaker scoop he let me take it to the football game and sock hop at my high school And I was only 14 years old with no license well I got busted drag racing that night and because the cop knew my dad they didn't give me a ticket or take me to jail he just wouldn't let me drive it until I got my license if you get a chance Google the Trans am 70 or 71 presidential model 455 H.O.S.D beautiful car. He was the best God father a person could have he died a few years later from cancer at only 34 years old I miss him.
